Worms & Treats

Wow, we are learning all sorts of things with Suzy!!  When we were in Oklahoma we found out that Suzy had tape worms (not the kind that can be passed on to humans).  As with everyone money is tight and when we looked into getting the stuff that she needed, it was very expensive.  A close friend suggested we try what they used and it has worked wonderfully!

Checking out the goodies in the drawers.

The dewormer is a natural formula that works for all worms except the heart worm medicine that has to come straight from a vet.  I highly recommend Molly’s Herbal for this dewomer.  It is powder and all you have to do it mix it with peanut butter, and a little flour (to hold it together) and I put a little bit of honey with it.  Suzy loves it and begs for more!!  Yes, you have to use it as described but it is cheaper and last longer than the type sold in the store.

As we have worked with Suzy we didn’t know what to do because she didn’t like any of the treats that we bought.  Yes, she is a picky dog, just like Milton.  Beth tried her treats that they use with their dogs and she took after them.  So, we now use Waggin Tails treats and she will do just about anything to get them.

We continue to work daily with Suzy doing her obedience and “tricks” that will help her be a better service dog for Milton.  This is a long journey but one that is really rewarding

I'm the wife of my best friend that God gave to me over 20+ years ago. We have been blessed with 3 children, James (by adoption); Abigail & Milton (special needs child) and our service dog, Suzy. I have been blessed to be able to homeschool since 1997 and be the co-director with my husband, Michael, of the state wide Christian homeschool organization, MATCH since 1999. God has blessed us abundantly.
