About Us
Greetings from the Crider family. We are a family of 6 that love doing stuff together and homeschool.
Daddy (Michael) works for the rural electric company as an IT supervisor and is the princiPAL of our homeschool (The Little Lighthouse). Mother (Orilla) is a stay at home wife, mom, therapist, teacher, volunteerer and anything else that gets put onto her plate. Our parents are co-directors of the Missouri Association of Teaching Christian Homes, Inc (MATCH) which is the only state wide Christian homeschool organization.
Then comes the us kids. James is the oldest and lives in Poplar Bluff, MO. He loves animals and the woods. Abigail is next and is in Jr. High. She loves music, photography, art, the outdoors. Milton is our special needs child. He is epileptic and autistic we are thankful that he is with us and we get all excited when he reaches a new mark in his education. He has a special little friend that goes everywhere with him her name is Suzy. Suzy is a Great Pyrenees and is an awesome service dog. You can read more about her in our blog.
